Venturly is operated by FORATY LLC ("FORATY", "we", "us"), a limited liability company organized in the State of Michigan, USA. FORATY is the data controller for the information described below. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, provided when you register or complete your profile.
  • Business and invoicing data — the companies, clients, contacts, services, invoices, line items, and taxes you create in Venturly.
  • Authentication data — your password (stored only as a salted hash), and, if you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, the basic profile and email address those providers share with us.
  • Payment data — when a client pays an invoice online, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a payment reference, but we do not collect or store full card numbers.
  • Technical data — basic log and session information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

We use it to provide and operate Venturly: to create and run your account, authenticate you, generate and send invoices, process online payments, send you transactional email (such as confirmations, invitations, and notifications), and to support, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We share information with a small number of providers only as needed to run the service:

  • Stripe — online card payment processing.
  • Google and Facebook — optional sign-in, if you choose to use them.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — application and database hosting.

Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to records we are required to retain by law.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
